Since this year, Zixing City has advertised its tourism in the subways, highways, buses and community elevators in the Greater Bay Area and Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster, where most tourists come from, to enhance the reputation of Zixing's all-for-one tourism.
Meanwhile, targeted study tour routes, cultural and creative products about Dongjiang Lake and regional textbooks of study tours have been launched to promote study tours, as well as one provincial study tour base and three municipal ones.
Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area offers special programs and experience projects, such as Yao women's antiphonal singing, instrumental performances and boat tours.
To further stimulate the tourism market, the city has rolled out preferential tickets for scenic areas and hotels like Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area since June. 100 internet celebrities were invited to travel to scenic areas in Zixing through marketing strategic agreement signed between the city and new media platforms such as douyin. Besides, ticket reservations for scenic areas are available in homestay inns and hotels in the city.
In July alone, Zixing has received a total of 1.363 million tourist trips and gained tourism revenue of 1.406 billion yuan, up 58.4% and 42.6% year-on-year. Among them, the average daily reception of Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area exceeded 10,000 tourists, ranking first among popular scenic areas in Chenzhou.
