2022 Hunan Culture and Tourism Industry Expo kicks off

The 2022 Hunan Culture and Tourism Industry Expo kicked off in Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center on August 25, attracting a total of 768 exhibitors from both inside and outside the province.

As an important supporting event of the first Hunan Tourism Development Conference, this expo will last until August 27 on the theme of “new cultural tourism, new technology and new future”.
 
The total exhibition area is about 58,000 square meters. The main venue is located in Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. Ten exhibition areas are set up to display cultural tourism resources like cultural tourism equipment, smart cultural tourism achievements as well as cultural tourism towns and cultural industry parks from all over the province.

The sub-venue is situated in Ouyang Xun Cultural Park in the Shutang Mountain, Wangcheng District, Changsha City. Four major exhibition areas are arranged, concentrating on the elements of “new technology” to exhibit scientific and technological cultural tourism equipment, entertainment equipment, new technologies, new products and new achievements in the technology field of cultural and tourism industry. 
 
At the exhibition site, cultural tourism equipment in diverse fields and forms is particularly eye-catching like earth warehouses, starry cabins, low-altitude aircraft, various recreational vehicles and VR immersive experiences.
 
The expo highlights the elements of “new technology”, with the focus on the display of new highlights and new models in the integration of five cultural and tourism technologies (outdoor camping, recreational vehicles, low-altitude flight, yachts and boats as well as smart cultural tourism) to enrich the supply chain of cultural and tourism industry, promote innovation of business form, and provide a new technological engine for the development of the cultural and tourism industry.
 
The sub-venue of cultural and tourism technology application set up in the Shutang Mountain enables the display form of technology-empowered cultural tourism equipment to be “scenario-based”.
 
Visitors can have an immersive experience. For example, the first national forest 5D all-media immersive magic-color light and shadow show presents the new vitality of the natural landscape endowed by technological devices and equipment, creating an immersive sense of atmosphere and experience.
