In 2020, Gufutang Village was rated as a provincial demonstration village for beautiful countryside construction due to its unique geographical advantage and complete infrastructure. 

 

However, its weak collective economy has become a major factor restricting rural revitalization. 

 

This year, with the help of the support team, the Hongli Ecological Planting and Breeding Professional Cooperative was built to develop the rice breeding industry.

 

 

Through the method of “enterprise, cooperative and farmers”, a 150-mu (10 hectares) rice breeding base was built. The local villagers can get annual dividends from their land. What’s more, the base can provide work for 10 villagers every day. 

 

Next, the village plans to develop the rice breeding into a pillar industry, constantly expand the industrial scale, and implement the rotation of oilseed rape and rice to drive the surrounding residents to increase their income.
