Recently, the Xiongkun Knotting Garment Manufacturing Project was officially signed. It took three months for this project to settle in the county, which was the second project signed by the county this year. 

 

The project, which settled in Zengkou Innovation Park of Guidong County, is invested by Xionghai Garment Company in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. The project plans to build 5 knitting production lines, purchase 300 computerized flat knitter machines, sewing machines, ironing machines and other production equipment and facilities. It’s estimated that 70 million yuan will be invested by the end of November this year, and 30 million yuan will be invested by the end of June 2023, which will be used for leasing, machinery, safety production and others. 

 

Once completed, it will use its own technology and local labor force to produce knitted sweaters and other finished products. It’s estimated that the annual output will be 12 million, the annual output value will be 200 million yuan, and 1,500 job opportunities will be created. 

 

This year, a series of measures have been launched to attract investment, and many excellent projects like Shaoxiong Eco-agriculture and Baixian Ecological Agriculture have settled in Guidong, providing more than 1,000 job opportunities for local people.
