A well-facilitated farmland construction project has been implemented in the demonstration area. The water-saving irrigation system has been equipped, the water channels have been built and the reservoirs have been reinforced. The irrigation and water conservancy infrastructure of the farmland has been further improved to solve the problems of agricultural water use for farmers.

 

Sine this year, Tangdong Sub-district has vigorously implemented grain production projects and created an upsurge in the development of the agricultural industry. It has built 2 demonstration areas of double cropping rice as well as corn and soybeans and 1 demonstration base of sorghum.

 

 

Skilled farmers have been introduced to plant sorghum, high-quality rice and corn, so that villagers can rent out their land, cooperatives have income, farmers get employed on their doorstep and the cultivated land won’t be abandoned.
