The Xihe River originates from the Qitianling Mountains of the Yangtian Lake in Beihu District, Chenzhou City, and flows through Guiyang County, Beihu District, Suxian District, Yongxing County and 52 villages with a total length of 150 kilometers. 

 

At the beginning of 2022, Chenzhou launched a three-year action to build the Xihe River Rural Revitalization Demonstration Belt, in an effort to develop the Xihe River into a national well-known rural revitalization demonstration belt and rural leisure tourism destination. Now, the Xihe River sees a boom in the cultural tourism industry on its both sides.

 

On November 19, the first Xihe River Rural Tourism Culture Festival of Chenzhou kicked off in Guiyang County. The organizer launched such special activities as the harmonious starry sky camping experience, Red music sharing meeting, 2022 Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles Culture Festival and the completion ceremony of the Milestone of Xu Xiake’s Travel of Yongxing County in 2022 to meet the tourists’ personalized and diversified travel demands.

 

 

The 12 boutique rural tourist routes are as follows: tour along the Xihe River (three-day tour of Beihu, Guiyang, Suxian and Yongxing), tour of Beihu District (two-day tour of Yangtian Lake Grassland Scenic Area, Xiaobu Ancient Village and the Xianling Lake), tour of Suxian District (two-day tour of Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles Culture Heritage Base, Lianshan Villa and the Cuijiang River), tour of Zixing City (two-day tour of Dongjiang Lake Tourist Area, Bailang Town and Qingjiang Town), tour of Guiyang County (two-day tour of Hexie Village, Daxi Ancient Village and Chaoyang Village), tour of Yizhang County (two-day tour of the Mangshan Mountain, Swallow Rock and Yihong Villa), tour of Yongxing (two-day tour of Bianjiang River Scenic Area, Anling Academy and Woyuan Ecological Farm), tour of Jiahe County (two-day tour of Leigongjing Village, Xiao Ke’s Former Residence and Puman Township), tour of Linwu County (two-day tour of Xiyao Green Valley, Ziwei Tianxia Scenic Area and Longguiping Ancient Village), tour of Rucheng County (two-day tour of Shazhou Village, Rucheng Hot Spring and Jiulong River), tour of Guidong County (two-day tour of Shatian Town, Zhaiqian Town and Qingzhu Village) and tour of Anren County (two-day tour of Dukou Danxia Scenic Area, Paddy Field Park and Xianglu Village).
