The villages included on the list have three characteristics.

 

First, there are many innovative business forms in these villages. They have effectively combined agricultural sightseeing with agricultural technology to build high-tech ecological farms, immersive natural museum education camps and an interactive stage for the integration of light show and traditional farming culture. The villages have also held tea picking festivals, rice field music festivals and other agricultural festivals in different farming seasons.

 

Second, farmers play an increasingly important role in the development of agricultural industry. They have built their own houses into characteristic farmhouses. Farmers have accounted for more than 85% of the leisure agriculture staff in the village. The rural leisure tourism has been a main source of farmers’ income.

 

Third, digital technology empowers marketing services. The villages have carried out marketing publicity, ticket booking and room reservation through APP and live broadcast platforms. Meanwhile, big data technology has been used to guide consumption and calculate tourist flow, in a bid to provide intelligent and efficient services.
