Chaoyang Village is a famous model village for Red culture. In recent years, the village has strengthened the daily management and protection of such old sites as Lishan Red Army’s Long March Memorial Pavilion, and built Party building education, the Red Army Long March Hall, the multi-functional activity hall, the experience hall, and the farming and natural scenic area. 

 

 

Apart from Red resources, Yanshan village also boasts green resources. Thanks to local Red tourism resources, the village vigorously develops leading industries like catering, ecological study tours and eco-tourism. It makes full use of Red culture and green ecology to develop rural tourism.

 

 

Now, an endless stream of tourists come here, which not only expands the village’s collective economy, but also helps local villagers increase income. 

 

 

Chaoyang Village has adhered to the green ecological development. It implemented an industrial development model of “Party branch, bases and incubators”, transfering more than 100 mu (about 6.67 hectares) land from villagers to plant fruit and vegetables. It rented the idle old houses and turned them into homestay inns. Villagers can get a rent of about 1,000 yuan and make money by working in the fruit and vegetable planting bases, homestay inns and restaurants. 

 

 

What’s more, the village introduced investment to build the Lishan Pastoral Complex project, developing an ecological rural tourism industry integrating sightseeing, picking experience, conference and exhibitions, catering and accommodation. The project has been completed recently.
