In recent years, tourism has become an important pivot for Hunan Province to build a new development pattern, and Hunan has successfully created seven national demonstration zones for all-for-one tourism, ranking seventh in the country. Zhangjiajie has comprehensively pushed forward the goal of “organizing a conference to promote the development of a city”, and made every effort to host the first Hunan Tourism Development Conference, with infrastructure construction and scenic area upgrading in full swing.

 

As Red tourism is booming, laws and regulations have been introduced to protect and make good use of Red resources.

 

In 2021, Hunan Province developed Red tourism according to local conditions.

 

Aizhai-Shibadong-Dehang Grand Canyon Scenic Area was promoted to a 5A tourist attraction.

 

Shazhou Village, where the story of Half a Quilt took place, became a popular Red tourist destination with a national reputation.

 

And five Red tourism routes were included in the “100 Boutique Red Tourism Routes in the Centenary of the Founding of the Party”, making Hunan one of the provinces with the largest number of such routes.

 

In the future, Hunan Province will continue strengthening the construction of the rule of law in tourism, and solidly promoting the rule of law in tourism and the development of tourism in accordance with the law.

 

It will deepen the connotative development of tourism, optimize the long-term mechanism of “organizing a conference to promote the development of a city”, and continuously improve the quality and brand of Hunan tourism. It will also precisely implement the policy of helping enterprises to alleviate difficulties and cope with the impact of the epidemic.

 

Moreover, continuous efforts will be made to focus on the planning and promotion of tourism, and effectively facilitate the more systematic and coordinated development of Hunan’s tourism industry.
