‘Beihu Night Consumption’ becomes excellent urban tourism case

The “Beihu Night Consumption” of Chenzhou was included in the “2022 Urban Tourism Excellent Cases” released by the China Tourism Research Institute at the 2022 China Urban Tourism Development Forum recently.

 

Since Chenzhou proposed the night cultural tourism consumer brand of “8:30 p.m. in Chenzhou,the brightest night sky” in October 2021, the Beihu District Party Committee and the Beihu District Government have attached great importance to it, earnestly shouldered the responsibility and promoted the construction of the night consumption block.
 
“Enjoy the beautiful scenery in the day and enjoy life at night”. Beihu District, relying on its profound historical and cultural heritage, has strengthened the layout of local characteristic cultural projects such as Qingcong Bookstore, camping fairs, and popular boat night tours, created a business alliance and a smart cloud economy model, launched a new city brand of the “Beihu Night Consumption”, thus providing a strong impetus for the high-quality economic and social development of Chenzhou.
 
At the same time, this cultural tourism consumption cluster has also become a new landmark for urban consumption such as night tours, night entertainment and night reading in Chenzhou, greatly enriching the amateur cultural life of urban youth, and improving the artistic and cultural taste of the city.
 
It helps attract talents, foreign capital and stimulate consumption, drives the economic vitality of Better Life Xintiandi Mall, Friendship Apollo International Plaza, Xinglong Pedestrian Street, Xingwang Pedestrian Street and other large-scale complexes and business streets, promoting the new brand of the “Beihu Night Consumption”.
 
The Beihu Night Consumption Block in Chenzhou City was listed as one of the key cultivation objects among the 60 cultural and tourism consumption clusters in China in October 2022.
