On December 11, villagers covered vegetables with film at Huasheng Agricultural Base in Jinping Town, Jiahe County.

As the temperature dropped after the “Major Snow” , one of the 24 solar terms, villagers in the county strengthened the protection of crops against cold and freezing by covering vegetables, fruit seedlings and other crops with film and straw to ensure their good growth for increased production and income.
