Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park, with 6,000 hectares of virgin forest, is a gathering place for plants from the north and south. There is the Pinus Kwangtungensis community, a national key protected wild plant. In order to adapt to the harsh environment of high altitude, the pines secrete a cold-proof substance that makes pine needles gradually turn green every winter, so that there is still green all over the mountain.
