10th Feitian Mountain Cross-Country Hiking Race kicks off

On December 25, the 10th Feitian Mountain “Hundred-Mile Danxia” Cross-Country Hiking Race, as well as 2022 Sports Tourism Outdoor Sports Carnival, kicked off in Chenzhou Feitian Mountain National Geopark. As one of the activities during the Chenzhou Tourism Development Conference, this race attracted more than 1,000 runners from all over the province.
The race includes three groups: 30KM cross-country group, 15KM cross-country group and 10KM hiking group. There is beautiful scenery such as rivers, Danxia landform, cliff inscriptions, hanging coffins and primary forests along the circuitous race route, which is full of challenges and enjoyment for the players.
Meanwhile, every player can get a package, which allows them to experience camping in the nature, and visit Feitian Mountain Scenic Area for free during the race.
The Feitian Mountain “Hundred Miles Danxia” Cross-Country Hiking Race has been successfully held for nine times. With the continuous expansion of the scale of the race, it has become an influential mountain sports event in South China. The race not only enhanced the reputation and influence of Chenzhou, successfully created the
mass sports IP brand event, but also promoted the integration of local sports, culture and tourism.
