Tangerines harvested in Shiguyuan Village

The photos taken on December 28 show villagers picking emperor tangerines in Shiguyuan Village, Jiahe County, Chenzhou City.

 

These days, more than 300 mu (20 hectares) of emperor tangerines in the village are getting ripe and farmers are busy harvesting the tangerines to supply the market.

 

In recent years, villagers have been encouraged to plant over 6,000 mu (400 hectares) of fruits such as navel oranges, tangerines and red pomelos to increase their income.
