Chenzhou is the hometown of nonferrous metals. The city has found more than 40 kinds of nonferrous metal minerals, and has more than 1,000 nonferrous metal processing service enterprises. The rare and precious metal industrial cluster has basically formed. Especially the rare and precious metal rough processing industry with comprehensive recovery of “secondary materials” and “urban minerals” takes the lead in the country. 

 

The rare and precious metal industrial cluster of Yongxing County has been approved as a national characteristic industrial cluster of small and medium-sized enterprises. 

 

The establishment of the center integrates two centers in Chenzhou and Yongxing, one scientific research project incubation base. And two scientific research institutes are under construction. It’s conducive to further strengthening cooperation and exchanges with other industrial associations and relevant institutions, promoting the development of Chenzhou rare and precious metal industry, and expanding the social effect of Chenzhou rare and precious metal industry brand.

 

A head of the center said that it will enhance the vertical and horizontal cooperation with relevant industrial institutions, strengthen the connection with relevant industrial clusters in sister cities, learn from advanced management methods and long-term development plans, and promote the rare and precious metal industry in Chenzhou to a higher level, so as to better serve the high-quality development of Chenzhou’s economy and society.
