The Second Hunan Tourism Development Conference solicits designs for slogan, logo and mascot

Since January 30, the Executive Committee of the Second Hunan Tourism Development Conference in Chenzhou City has solicited the theme slogan, tourism image logo (LOGO) and mascots for the Second Hunan Tourism Development Conference from the public.
Continuous efforts are being made to host the conference well, build Chenzhou into a world tourist destination, further expand the influence of Chenzhou’s tourism brand, and promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou’s cultural tourism industry.
The slogan is required to focus on the theme of “Three Lands and Four Rivers Meet in Hunan”, and further refine the core concept of cultural tourism publicity on the basis of the overall image of Chenzhou tourism. And it needs to be attractive and appealing, and accurately display the image and connotation of Chenzhou tourism. The main body of the slogan must be in Chinese, which can be supplemented by English, Japanese and Korean translation according to the needs of the target group.
The LOGO is required to fully display Chenzhou’s excellent traditional culture, history, geographical location, rich resources, unique customs and lifestyle. The design should be featured with prominent themes, profound meanings, innovative ideas, full of visual impact. It should also be easy to recognize, remember and spread, and suitable for display on various media, carriers, and products such as envelopes, letters, business cards, folders, notebooks, and handbags.
The mascots are required to be likable and attractive to the public, with a reflection of Chenzhou’s regional characteristics. The design should be original, recognizable, fashionable and humanlike, as well as flexible for the development of products around the mascots.
Six entries will be shortlisted for the theme slogan, LOGO and mascots respectively, and one of them will be selected out finally. The prize for the best work is 100,000 yuan, and the prize for each of the shortlisted works is 20,000 yuan. The deadline for the submission is March 31, 2023, subject to the time of receiving the email.
