In recent years, Xinglang Town has seized the opportunity to practice the new development concept and implement the requirements for high-quality development. Its economy has registered a good momentum of steady growth.

 

 

Xinglang Town has attached great importance to grain production and the cultivation of grain farmers. At present, it has built three contiguous early rice planting demonstration sites of more than 100 mu (about 6.67 hectares) in Hexie Village, Xiaohu Village and Xinglang Village.

 

It has planted 17,952.87 mu (about 1,196.86 hectares) of dry grain such as soybeans, corn and sorghum. The planting area of tobacco has increased by over 1,200 mu (80 hectares) and reached 5,600 mu (about 373.33 hectares), generating tax income of 5.6 million yuan.

 

 

Xiaojia Village has cultivated 720 mu (48 hectares) of navel oranges. According to the development concept of “one village, one product”, Xinglang Town has focused on the development of characteristic agricultural products such as navel oranges in Xiaojia Village, citrus in Xinglang Village, Chinese medicinal herbs in Xiaohu Village and Letang Village, and established a number of high-quality agricultural product industrial bases to create a brand of Xinglang’s agricultural products.

 

 

Xinglang Town has actively explored the model of “party building plus” to develop the rural collective economy and integrated the advantageous resources of each village. Xinglang Village and Xiaojia Village have been listed as rural revitalization demonstration villages, which will drive all other villages in the town to increase income.

 

 

By the end of November 2022, the 16 villages in the town had achieved the goal of village collective economic income of 2.8 million yuan.

Xinglang Town has deeply implemented the strategy of strengthening the town through industry.

 

 

Covering an area of more than 1,200 mu (80 hectares), the Jiahe Green Intelligent Casting Industrial Park project was started. The land acquisition of the Jiahedong Substation project was completed as scheduled, and 38 220KV and 26 110KV transmission towers were constructed.

 

 

The project was put into operation in December 2022. With a total investment of more than 60 million yuan and an annual output of 100 million environment-friendly bricks, Baohu Brick Factory, the largest plant in the city and the second plant in the province to use three wastes as raw materials to make bricks, was put into operation.

 

 

Xinglang Town has placed great emphasis on the project construction and sought to introduce a number of large projects with high technological content and good economic benefits to provide strong support for sustainable economic development.

 

At present, Xinglang Town has made every effort to promote the construction of key projects such as Longxing Industrial Park, Chunlin Road, Xinsheng Large Oil Depot and Kuangjia Village Energy Storage Power Station, and finish the projects like Zhongnong Zhengbang Pig Farm.

 

 

In recent years, Xinglang Town has been aimed at building the industrial chain of equipment manufacturing logistics park, accelerated the construction of trade logistics market, and applied for the creation of “characteristic logistics town”, creating a new growth point for finance and taxation.

 

 

Xinglang Town has improved the rural living environment and beautified the villages to increase people’s sense of happiness and degree of satisfaction. Xinglang Village has carried out the road hardening project to improve the quality of the living environment in an orderly way.

 

 

Xinglang Town has taken multiple measures to tap the development potential of the Red cultural resources such as Tongliang Bridge and Yuying Hall, as well as regional ecological and cultural landscapes, in a bid to create the rural tourism brand of Xinglang with scientific planning and rational layout.

 

 

Xinglang Town has focused on the integrated development of agricultural and tourism industries, and provided substantial support for the experience and sightseeing agricultural industries such as Huijing Ecology and Fengyuan Villa.
