In the cold chain storage center of Chenzhou Lvzhiran Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., workers are busy sorting and packing vegetables purchased at nearby bases.

 

The platform is updated every half an hour, and although the supply volume will fluctuate to a certain extent, it is normally stable at more than 20,000 to 30,000 orders per day.

 

 

The sorting center integrates agricultural product drying, storage, sorting, processing, cold chain and preservation, which not only broadens the sales channels of local vegetables, effectively solves the problems of local agricultural product storage, processing, off-peak sales, etc., but also greatly increases the value of agricultural products. At the same time, the center also provides more than 30 jobs for farmers living in the surrounding area.

 

Tian Donghui, general manager of Chenzhou Lvzhiran Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., introduced that in the past, due to the lack of a vegetable sorting center, the vegetables grown by farmers were brought to the market separately, and especially the small-scale operation mode of self-production and self-sale provided great inconvenience for vegetable farmers and also affected the sales. In order to increase sales channels, he came up with the idea of establishing a sorting center and cooperating with e-commerce platforms.

 

 

After Tian Donghui's efforts, in mid-December 2022, the first sorting center in Beihu District was officially completed and put into use, which is the starting point of the circulation of agricultural products and the focus of cold chain logistics construction. 

 

The sorting center has greatly improved the circulation efficiency of agricultural products, opened up a new situation for vegetable sales in Beihu District, and allowed  the people to have richer and fresher products on their dining tables.
