It also introduced enterprises above designated size such as Hunan Zhonghe Forestry, Fangxing Vegetable Basket, and Hunan Zuiyang Ecological Agriculture and developed ecological agricultural industries such as alpine vegetables, traditional Chinese medicine, and yellow peach, leading the people of the town to realize rural revitalization.

 

In recent days, the agricultural service center of Oujiang Town has hired yellow peach planting technicians from the county agricultural industry development service center to help the development of yellow peach industry in Sandong Village of the town.

 

Fu Lijun, one of the technicians, shared his own field research and personal practice with the yellow peach growers in Sandong Village. He patiently resolved the doubts raised by the planters in terms of planting and management.

 

The growers were deeply inspired and benefited from their instruction. In order to better understand the knowledge and master the management technology, agronomists Liu Chinong and Li Guosi demonstrate pruning, fertilizing and land preparation at the yellow peach garden.

 

The yellow peach planting area in Sandong Village has grown to more than 200 mu (13.33 hectares). In combination with the construction of rural e-commerce and wellness homestay, it has achieved the goal of selling yellow peaches without leaving the village. 

 

In 2022 alone, the village’s yellow peach income exceeded 1.2 million yuan, and the yellow peach industry has really become an industry that helps increase the income of villagers.
