The red Danxia Mountain, a national 3A scenic spot, and golden cole flowers form a picturesque landscape. Cole flowers are grown by local farmers on the scattered small plots of land on the stone ditches, stone caves and stone slopes, and the income of rapeseed oil per mu (0.067 hectares) exceeds 1,000 yuan. 

 

In spring, the Danxia Mountain is dotted with blooming cole flowers, becoming a popular resort for tourists around the country and a way to help farmers increase income. 

 

 

At the opening ceremony of the festival, various activities such as mass art performances, kite flying, martial arts and yoga were held.
