The festival will last until March 12. During the festival, tourists can enjoy the sea of flowers, participate in the cole flower photography competition, and buy featured agricultural products such as dried fish, rice noodles and farm dishes in the special agricultural products exhibition and marketing area. 

 

They can also experience the production of rice noodles stewed with fish and taste it on the spot in the exhibition and experience area of intangible cultural heritage projects.

 

 

In recent years, Suxian District has always adhered to the development concept of “urban-rural integration and all-for-one tourism”, focused on the “flower economy” to create idyllic scenery, vigorously developed leisure agriculture and rural tourism, formed such a series of high-quality rural tourism routes as the Xihe Rural Revitalization Demonstration Belt, and built a “oilseed rape plus” new economic model such as enjoying the flower sea, picking vegetables and fruits, tasting characteristic foods, and selling characteristic agricultural products. 

 

 

It has created a batch of urban gardens integrating modern agricultural production and integrated development of agriculture, culture and tourism, and was awarded the honorary title of “Hunan’s most beautiful cole flower rural tourism spot” in 2023 by Hunan Provincial Department Agriculture and Rural Department.
