The ploughing ceremony was held in the Anren Paddy Field Park on March 21, which marks the Spring Equinox, one of the 24 Chinese solar terms.

The ceremony is one of the activities during the Anren market-day, which is held to commemorate the great contribution of Shennong and pray for a good harvest this year.
