Photos taken on March 28 show tea farmers wearing straw hats and raincoats picking tea leaves in a 10,000-mu (about 66.66 hectares) tea plantation at Guidong County.

 

 

Tea industry is one of the pillar industries of Guidong County. At present, there are more than 100,000 mu (about 6,666.67 hectares) of tea bases in the county, and almost every household in some towns has tea gardens.

 

Today, tea leaf has become the “golden leaf” for local villagers to increase their income.
