Dongluo Township integrates Red and green resources for better development

Taking the opportunity of the second Hunan Tourism Development Conference, Dongluo Township of Guidong County deeply integrates “Red” and “green” resources, fully promotes project construction, and comprehensively develops green industries, striving to write a new chapter of high-quality development.

Red history drives the Red tourism. Located in the southeast of Guidong County, Dongluo Township is an important part of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base and also the location of the earliest educated youth center in Guidong County. In recent years, Dongluo Township has been actively giving full play to the advantages of Red resources, making every effort to create high-quality red products, and develop the Red economy.
 
In order to activate the new engine of development and cultivate all-for-one tourism, Dongluo Township has vigorously implemented the construction of the Educated Youth Village project at the former site of Zhongnikeng Educated Youth Center, striving to build a rural leisure tourism area with educated youth culture as its connotation and landscape ecology as its characteristics, integrating educated youth culture education, pastoral, forest wellness, and homestay inns. It aims to create a holiday resort that nourishes the eyes, heart, stomach, lungs, body, and emotions as it seeks to inject new vitality into the construction of a leisure town.

Green industries promote integrated development. In recent years, Dongluo Township has vigorously developed special agricultural industries and given full play to the demonstration effects of benchmark bases such as Fangxing Non-Staple Food Base, Shunfa Fruit and Vegetable Base, and Wuhua Agricultural Machinery Cooperative to build into a characteristic agricultural industry development zone, forming a characteristic advantage industry with vegetables, mountain spring irrigated rice, fruits, and traditional Chinese medicinal herb cultivation.

In order to promote agricultural production and increase farmers’ income, Dongluo Township has promoted the construction of high standard farmland in Wuhua Village, Qiyunfeng Village, and Lianhe Village, with an area of 1,400 mu (about 93.33 hectares), benefiting more than 2,000 people and laying a solid foundation for building a high-quality agricultural and sideline product supply township.
 
In recent years, Dongluo Township has continuously promoted the integration of “Red” and “green” resources and created innovative development models to improve development efficiency. The whole township has been making unremitting efforts to achieve high-quality development.
