Farmers who work on the land can go off work on time just like office workers in Chaoyang Village, Zhenghe Town, Guiyang County, with working meals and salaries paid to their bank cards.
Recently, the villagers working in Lishan Integration Industry Park with Agriculture, Culture and Tourism walked off the vegetable field in a line, laughing and talking. It was exactly 12 o’clock.
The Red culture-themed Lishan Integration Industry Park with Agriculture, Culture and Tourism, built in 2021, consists of 6 areas: a Red culture display area, a green eco-agriculture growing area, a display and trade area for agricultural products, a research and labor practice area, a special catering and residential area and a special ecological breeding area. It has transferred paddy fields and dry farm with a total of 1,200 mu (80 hectares) or so and rented dozens of vacant houses from villagers.
With the park having been completed initially, there are a lot of jobs for villagers who can do nothing but get rent at home.
The villager Zhang Xiaojiao, 64 years old, works in the green and eco-agriculture growing area, mainly planting, picking, fertilizing, plowing, with a monthly salary of 3,000 yuan. She goes on work early to 12 in the morning and from 14 to 18 in the afternoon. In case of high temperature, working hours will be adjusted accordingly.
Among the 6 areas, there is a large demand in the growing area and the catering and residential area, needing about 70 employees.
Li Mingyou, 66 years old, works as a guard in the catering area with a monthly salary of 1,800 yuan, and has lunch and super in the company. He is greatly satisfied with this job.
According to Xiao Dan, a person in charge, in 2022, the sales revenue of vegetables and fruits in the growing area was about 1.5 million yuan, and the revenue in the catering and residential area was 3.5 million yuan, good to pay wages. In 2023, it will be expected to pay 1.2-million-yuan labor wages.
According to statistics, more than 100,000 visitors were received in 2022. This year, the park will actively explore research and labor practice, which will offer about 20 jobs and the priority will be given to the villagers in Chaoyang Village.
Through the construction of the park, the living environment has undergone drastic changes, from “dirty, messy and bad” to “clean, tidy and beautiful”.
The elderly left behind in the village begin to persuade their children out to come back. They are content with the present situations and feel proud of living here.
Predictably, with the functions and the business better and better, more and more young people will join in the workforce in the village. The model that benefit enterprises, the village collective and villagers is being formed.
