To further optimize the travel environment and consolidate the achievement in the construction of “‘Four Good’ Rural Roads” (rural roads that are well built, managed, maintained and operated), Anren County has comprehensively upgraded electric power, water conservancy, communication, energy and other infrastructure along the Shuimodanqing Road (or ink painting road).

 

Without destroying the original ecological environment, Shuimodanqing Road was fully integrated with the enchanting rural scenery. To achieve the goal of showing a better ecological landscape, the security facilities were improved. More than 2,000 green ornamental trees such as osmanthus trees and camphor trees were planted along the highway, and lawns and flowers were laid on vacant ground with a greening rate of 98%. At the same time, Anren County fully realized the goal of cement roads leading to every household and installed 327 street lamps to make the road at night bright as the day.

 

 

As the project to construct the most beautiful rural road was implemented, a pleasant pattern of beauty and prosperity has been formed because of the road. The cultural square, the egret garden, the rural library and the mass cultural activity center, the medical clinic and the village comprehensive service center have been put into use successively. The power grid, water network and communication network have been gradually improved. All these achievements have effectively solved the problems that have restricted villagers’ safe travel and convenient life along the Shuimodanqing Road by the Yongle River for a long time.
