The race includes four segments for different groups of runners - 60km, 27km, 7.5km and 4 km. 

 

Over 2,000 runners participated in the race. Among them, there were both professionals and amateurs. Besides the locals, there were also contestants from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, the surrounding provinces as well as foreign countries.
