The activity site was crowded with job seekers. The recruiters introduced their basic information and job requirements through display boards and leaflets. Xu, who just graduated from university, was looking for a job in the night market. He said, “I have been an intern in another city. I saw a job fair when I came for a walk tonight. I find that Chenzhou has a great development prospect and the salary offered by the enterprises is also good, so I’d like to stay and work in Chenzhou.”

 

At present, the human resources department of Suxian District has held 46 offline large-scale recruitment activities, involving in 339 enterprises. There was almost one recruitment activity every week with different characteristics in the whole district.

 

 

By the of June, 2,391 people had been newly employed in Suxian District, an increase of 10.13% year on year. And 1,230 unemployed had been re-employed in urban areas, a year-on-year increase of 10.21%. 540 people facing difficulties in securing employment had got jobs, and 1,661 rural workers had been employed in non-agricultural sectors. 

 

Considering big crowds of people on the square at night, Suxian District will further hold night recruitment activities, enabling people to find suitable jobs as easily as they shop at the night market.
