A group of enthusiastic talented individuals who understand the market have been elected to the village government, which indeed helped strengthen the organizational leadership. The town government set the general direction for the development of the collective economy through monthly inspection over collective economy-related work, clear-cut responsibilities and party members’ sense of responsibility and discipline in village collective economic organizations.

  

Village branch secretaries have been regularly organized to “go out” to learn advanced experience and explore “golden ideas” for the development of collective economy. 

 

The liaison has been strengthened with local townsmen who run businesses out of the town. 18 able townsmen stations have been set up in order to attract capital, technology and talent. Entrepreneurs who are natives of Zhangjiazhou Village have returned to start businesses.

 

 

 

Factor resources across the region have been integrated and a blueprint for “one village, one policy” in accordance with local conditions formulated, and the collective economy doubling programme fully implemented. Red resources have been dug out, with Red education bases such as Anfuguan Holy Shrine and Zhangjiazhou Suming Primary School radiating from the former residence of He Kun in Niutou Village, a municipal Red village, for joint development.

 

The construction of a thousand-mu lotus base in Niutou Village was given priority, and cultural tourism consumption products involving Red attractions, folk customs and farming were developed to promote the integrated development of Red and rural tourism. Special industries were underlined. Cooperatives in Shanxia Village, Lunquan Village and Qingshui Village were set up to build a contiguous camellia forest of 10,000 mu (about 666.67 hectares) with the model of “party building + enterprise + village collective + farmer”.

 

 

 

A “branch farm” was established in Dongchong Village to grow flue-cured tobacco, and it is expected that the collective economic income of the village will exceed 200,000 yuan in 2023. The joint operation of villages and enterprises has been promoted. 17 village/community collective economic organizations signed supply agreements with Zhangjiazhou Bamboo Products Co., Ltd., and the company subsidizes dividends to the village collective at a price of 5 yuan/ton. 

 

Special brands have been created relying on the high-quality spring water resources of Anfu Village, including special agricultural product brands such as Anfu fish, Anfu crayfish, and Anfu spring water cucumber, which helped double the collective economic income of the village. It worked with Gaoze Agriculture, a provincial leading enterprise in poverty alleviation, to open Douyin and WeChat Video accounts to improve product awareness and market share, using online live streaming to sell goods and injecting vitality into the development of village-level collective economy.
