On July 8, the first round of qualification trials for the national piano competition kicked off in the Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park of Yizhang County, Chenzhou City. 255 piano enthusiasts from across the country competed for the opportunities to play piano with Lang Lang, a world-famous Chinese virtuoso pianist, on August 27.
Earlier this year, Lang Lang became an international ambassador of Chenzhou cultural tourism. He will launch a series of activities in the Mangshan Mountain at the preparation stage of the second Hunan Tourism Development Conference. One of the activities is to invite 100 excellent children pianists and young teachers to play together.
The qualification trials for the national piano competition were officially launched on March 27, attracting nearly 10 thousand contestants from 14 provinces, 3 municipalities and overseas. A total of 3,241 contestants entered the next round of competition. The finalists will go through 5 competitions to determine the final 100 piano performers.
Mangshan Mountain is one of the main venues of the second Hunan Tourism Development Conference. This year, it has launched a series of activities to publicize itself, such as the exhibition and performance of ICH items, and Yizhang night story. In particular, during the Spring Festival holiday, the activity related to “The Wandering Earth II” held in the Mangshan Mountain received more than 250 million views.
