In recent days, increasing visitors have come to the ecological orchard to pick grapes. In the greenhouses, bunches of plump grapes hang on the green vines, shining in the summer sunshine and exuding fragrant smells.

 

 

According to Dai Xing, a manager of the orchard, as soon as the vineyard opened, it attracted waves of tourists driving to come and pick. Entering the orchard, tourists couldn’t wait to pick and taste ripe grapes without cleaning them. After tasting the delicious and fruity grapes, they also enjoyed picking grapes.

 

“The grapes here are really delicious, fresh, and sweet,” said a tourist Xia Zhen, telling the reporter that she knew that the orchard had opened through a livestreaming session on Douyin yesterday, and immediately drove here with friends.

 

“We chose this location because it has a lot of sunshine from morning until afternoon, and the water here is good as it is near the Chongling River, so the grapes are very sweet.” According to Dai Xing, the Longfeng ecological orchard covers an area of more than 200 mu (about 13.33 hectares), which was originally a barren mountain, but it has the superior geographical location and good ecological resources. He and his partners contracted more than 200 mu (about 13.33 hectares) of land to plant grapes and golden pomelos a few years ago.

 

 

At present, there are various kinds of grapes in the orchard such as “Goldfinger” green grapes, sapphire black grapes, sunshine rose grapes, Wink grapes, which can be put on the market at different periods. The small grapes have become a big industry to help people increase income.

 

Dai Xing has been growing grapes for more than four years and now the annual output value is more than 1 million. And he plans to continually expand the planting scale and improve the quality of products, thus to create an ecological grape brand belonging to Zhangshi. Besides, he wants to drive the villagers to get rich together, relying on the local beautiful natural environment and through the way of “leisure agriculture plus tourism”.
