An intelligent and visualized digital intelligence orchard management system has been installed in the orchard. The system can automatically determine whether fruit trees lack water and which nutrient elements they lack by monitoring meteorological, water, soil, pest and disease data.

 

 

 

Combined with integrated water and fertilizer equipment, it can achieve timed and quantitative automatic irrigation and fertilization. 

 

The video monitoring covers the whole orchard, facilitating remote diagnosis and guidance. The digital and intelligent management can optimize resource allocation, reduce inefficient investment, apply fertilization and pesticide in a scientific way, detect insect pests and diseases in a timely manner, and reduce labor intensity, helping achieve green ecological sustainable development. 

 

 

 

Zhang Zimu, technical director of Shengniu Agricultural Development Company said that the modern sci-tech methods such as digital management and protected cultivation can help them carry out agricultural operations in a timely and effective manner, which will improve fruit quality, surface smoothness and yield.  

 

 

 

Now, the base covers an area of over 3,000 mu (200 hectares) and a 6-channel fully automated fruit selection field is under construction. The company plans to build a standardized Bingtang orange orchard covering 20,000 mu (about 1,333 hectares) within five years.
