Chenzhou is green. There are magnificent Mangshan Mountain, Danxia landscape, Mist-enveloped Dongjiang Lake and Yangtian Lake Grassland.
It is an important ecological barrier in South China, with a forest coverage rate of 60.46%. In recent years, it has successively won green awards such as “National Garden City”, “National Forest City” and “National Top 50 Oxygen Bar Cities”.

Chenzhou is beautiful at night, when it is illuminated with bright lights. The water curtain light shows in the North Lake Park are impressive. The Heping Night Market is crowded with tourists.
