6th Farmers’ Harvest Festival kicks off

On September 19, the 6th Farmers’ Harvest Festival was held in Yangling Village, Guidong County, where villagers gathered in golden rice paddies and competed in a rice harvest race, with sickles in their hands.

They worked in teams of two and the winner would be determined by  the weight of the rice each team reaped within a limited time.

During the event, people could also try making glutinous rice dumplings.
