Zixing City works on protection and inheritance of ancient villages

The photos taken on October 17 show ancient houses of the Li Family Courtyard in Xingtang Village, Tangdong Subdistrict, Zixing City. Built in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the courtyard is a well-preserved group of ancient houses in the southern Hunan region, with a history of more than 300 years.
In recent years, Zixing City has attached great importance to the protection and inheritance of ancient villages, and many departments have strengthened joint efforts to carry out the protection and inheritance of tangible and intangible cultural heritage. A number of ancient houses have been restored and repaired.
