On the morning of October 23, the women’s T36 class 200-meter final of the athletics event of the 4th Asian Para Games was held at the Huanglong Sports Center Stadium, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.
Shi Yiting from Guiyang won the championship with a time of 28.17 seconds, breaking her own world record of 28.21 seconds, which was also the first gold medal won by the Chinese team in the athletics event of the Asian Para Games.
Shi Yiting was born in 1997 in Guiyang County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. She has excellent athletic talent despite her physical disability.
In 2010, Shi Yiting was selected by Wang Fangshu, the coach of Guiyang No.3 Middle School, for systematic training in the track and field project of primary and middle school students in Guiyang County. Since then, Shi Yiting has created successive achievements with her hard work and sweat, shining on the world stage.
