Chenzhou’s products sell globally through its integrated pilot zone

2023-10-27

In recent years, 6 integrated pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce in Hunan have been approved as national ones, ranking second in the central region in terms of quantity.

According to statistics, the cross-border e-commerce import and export volume of the 6 integrated pilot zones in the province accounts for over 90% of the total in Hunan, making it a true core area and demonstration zone for the development of cross-border e-commerce in Hunan.

From October 20 to 22, at the 2023 Hunan (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Fair, the pilot zones of Changsha, Yueyang, and Chenzhou showcased their achievements.

Chenzhou: Full-mode customs clearance, “Chenzhou products” go global

As the “southern gateway” of Hunan, Chenzhou’s strength in “cross-border” cannot be underestimated.

In the first half of this year, Chenzhou’s total import and export volume reached 26.948 billion yuan, ranking third in the province with a year-on-year growth of 82.08%.

In September last year, Chenzhou’s integrated pilot zone witnessed its first 9810 business (B2B export to overseas warehouses).

Products such as bamboo knives, forks, spoons, and bamboo covers from Hunan Zhuzhiyuan Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. were shipped to Amazon's overseas warehouses in the United States.

Once an order is received on the cross-border e-commerce platform, the products can be delivered from the overseas warehouse to overseas buyers.

In the Chenzhou Cross-border E-commerce Trading Exhibition Center, 29 projects including SF Express and Shengbangda Cross-border E-commerce have settled in.

Agricultural machinery equipment manufactured in Chenzhou, Chenzhou special gift boxes, and handicrafts are gradually being shelved. This place not only serves as a platform for “buying products globally” but also facilitates the “selling Chenzhou’s products globally”.

“Chenzhou has 6 cross-border e-commerce industrial parks that have been built or are under construction, with the capability of full-mode customs clearance for cross-border e-commerce,” said a responsible person from the Chenzhou pilot zone.

Currently, Chenzhou has introduced and nurtured nearly 200 cross-border e-commerce enterprises, with a total import and export volume of 1.7 billion yuan.
