Xiangyindu Subdistrict strides towards rural revitalization

“After the opening of the rice garden, the art paintings and characters in the rice fields have attracted countless tourists, driving the consumption of other local specialties in the village. When the rice ripens, we harvest rice. We achieve a harvest of integrated agriculture and tourism,” said Li Jin, director of Youtang Village, Xiangyindu Subdistrict, Yongxing County.

In recent years, while building Xihe Rural Revitalization Demonstration Belt, Xiangyindu Subdistrict has made utmost efforts to build beautiful countryside, improve farmland productivity, increase farmers’ income and enhance village governance, thus contributing to the rural revitalization.
Xihewan Rice Garden is a high-standard farmland project and an agricultural tourism project in Xiangyindu Subdistrict, which integrates pastoral, agricultural and ecological culture.
Industries play an important role in rural revitalization. Xiangyindu Subdistrict has focused on building beautiful countryside through industrial development, effectively enhancing the vitality of green development.
Over 30 key industrial projects were implemented, over 9,000 mu (600 hectares) of high-standard farmlands were built, and seven bases for high-quality rice, Bingtang oranges and others were built.
The collective economic income of each village in the subdistrict has exceeded 100,000 yuan, with 5 villages exceeding 500,000 yuan and 2 villages exceeding 1 million yuan. This has laid a solid foundation for rural revitalization.
