On December 2, the Chenzhou Red, Green, and Ancient Themed Painting Exhibition was held at the Hunan Qingyun Art Museum in Changsha.
This exhibition showcases a total of 103 paintings, including 39 Chenzhou themed traditional Chinese paintings, 61 Chenzhou themed oil paintings, and 3 cultural and creative long scrolls comprised of the Chenzhou Red, green, and ancient themed paintings.
The event organizers invited nearly 100 artists from all over the country to complete a landscape and culture painting of Chenzhou by travelling thousands of kilometers for 4 months, showcasing the Red, green and ancient landscapes in Chenzhou.
The old, middle-aged, and young artists participated in the trip and art creation.
The Red themed long scroll created by artists such as Kang Yifeng and She Huansheng vividly tells the Red stories.
The green themed long scroll showcases the tourist attractions of Chenzhou, such as the Mangshan Mountain and Dongjiang Lake, painted by artists such as Yang Guoping, and Zeng Guibin.
The ancient themed scroll portrays the historical and cultural heritage of Chenzhou through 18 representative ancient scenes of Chenzhou. The scroll is painted by artists such as Wang Zhijian and Wang Mo.
This exhibition aims to present the beauty of Chenzhou’s landscape and culture in artistic form and promote the integration of culture and tourism.
It will continue until December 6.
