Located at the northern foot of the Nanling Mountains and at the junction of Hunan and Guangdong provinces, the Wuzhifeng Scenic Area of Mangshan Mountain in Yizhang County has the best preserved primeval forest in the same latitude of the earth. It is a gene pool of animals and plants in Southern China, and the first barrier-free mountain scenic area in the world, known as “a mountain that one can reach its top without climbing”.

 

 

The barrier-free tourism system of Mangshan Mountain Wuzhifeng Scenic Area consisting of a high-altitude cableway, a hiking trail, an elevator system, an auxiliary facility system and a barrier-free transfer system allows people with limited mobility to enjoy the scenery in the entire journey. 

 

Since its operation, the Mangshan Mountain Wuzhifeng Scenic Area has received a total of 10,017 disabled people and 257,448 people aged 60 and above.
