The project, with the total planned investment of 1 billion yuan, has four intelligent production lines, and features intelligent vehicle navigation devices, automotive headlights, automotive instruments, etc. After the project is put into operation, it can achieve an average annual output value of about 800 million yuan.

 

Zixing City has been making every effort to attract investment and projects so as to promote the economic development of Zixing, and the project is just an example.

 

In 2023, Zixing City continued efforts to attract large, strong, and new projects to build, extend, and strengthen industrial chains. A number of large and good projects were introduced, activating strong momentum for high-quality development of the economy.

 

The city has established a high-level joint operation command center for investment promotion, improved the reward methods for investment promotion, improved a series of work systems such as project scheduling, consultation and assessment. 

 

The main leaders led teams to promote projects and attract investment in the Yangtze River Delta and the Greater Bay Area, forming a long-term incentive mechanism and work orientation of investment promotion.

 

Zixing has introduced 24 measures to optimize the development environment, simplified the approval process in the field of engineering construction, and issued ten measures to support the high-quality development of industrial parks, in a bid to stabilize and secure projects.

 

Zixing City has spared no efforts to promote the development of six major industries, namely new energy, new materials, big data, electronic information, cultural tourism and wellness, and green food. 

 

Kibing with the annual output value of optical energy reaching 2.36 billion yuan, Xinchi Computing Center and China Unicom Dongjiang Lake Data Center, with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan, have settled in the Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park. The Hunan Province Big Data Disaster Recovery Center has opened. The output value of “fish, fruit, tea, and vegetables” in the park has increased by 4% year on year, with an expected total agricultural output value of 7.27 billion yuan.

 

Zixing City has improved a number of tourism projects with high standards, such as the Xiaodongjiang plank road, the Huilong sun watching platform, and the smart scenic area, held various events like the Qingdao Beer Festival. The Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area has been rated as a world rural tourism brand project and a national level boutique tourism route. It is expected that the number of domestic and foreign tourists received and tourism revenue will increase by 77.5% and 75.3% year on year respectively in 2023.

 

In 2023, Zixing City added 4 projects from Fortune Global 500, Top 500 Chinese Enterprises, and Top 500 Private Enterprises and 19 major industrial projects worth over 200 million yuan, with a total investment of 14.541 billion yuan. 

 

It is expected that 145 key municipal-level projects will complete an annual investment of 12.3 billion yuan, with a completion rate of 105%. It is anticipated that the total regional GDP for the whole year will reach 41 billion yuan, an increase of about 6.5%, and the per capita disposable income of all residents will increase by 5.4%. 

 

Zixing City was included among the top 100 counties in Central China and the top 100 counties with national tourism development potential in 2023.
