With a forest coverage of 99.08 percent, Mangshan Mountain on the border between Hunan and Guangdong provinces is a natural gene pool of animals and plants. The reappearance of this forest musk deer proves that the mountain's ecological system has been well preserved, offering a favorable habitat for forest musk deer.
