At the fair, over 50 local merchants in Huatang Town presented their specialties, including Huatang Strawberry, local pork and winter bamboo shoots. 

 

 

 

 

To increase the fun of the fair, the town government has also launched projects such as writing Spring Festival couplets, paper cutting and making glutinous rice cake for tourists, allowing them to experience Spring Festival celebrations while purchasing New Year goods. 

 

 

 

“We host the Xihe New Year Goods Festival for people to regain their memories of the Spring Festival. And we launched a new product called Hua Town Walk, which integrates agriculture, culture and tourism in the town this year. It connects the market, farm, Xihe Trail, wetland park, camping base and homestay inns in the town, inviting tourists to experience light life in Huatang Town.”

 

 

 

Xu Wenbin, head of Huatang town, said that in response to this concept, the town government has also launched a travel manual, including two recommended high-quality tour routes and 10 key attractions, as well as delicious food and beautiful scenery. 

 

 

 

This fair attracted over 15,000 visitors both online and offline, with over 100,000 yuan of agricultural products sold and more than 200 copies of travel manuals distributed.

 

At the same time, the travel manuals were released online, which greatly increased the visibility and influence of Huatang’s agricultural and cultural and tourism brand.
