The 2024 Chenzhou Spring Festival Hot Spring Season was launched on January 7. 11 counties and cities in Chenzhou which have hot spring resources are important winter tourism destinations, such as Rucheng Nuanshui Hot Spring, Mangshan Forest Hot Spring and Jiahe Yuzhong Hot Spring. 

 

At present, several characteristic hot springs in Chenzhou are greatly popular among tourists.

 

In addition to the hot spring season, Chenzhou will hold many colorful cultural and tourism activities. The Chenzhou Museum will carry out activities such as “Dragon Year Zodiac Picture Exhibition”. Chenzhou Changjuan Cultural Tourism City will launch such highlights as “Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Lunar New Year’s Shopping Festival”, “ICH Lunar New Year” and “ICH Lantern Festival”.

 

On February 2, the Kuaishou Gala, with more than 10 billion viewers, will be held at Zixing Dongjiang Cultural Plaza. In addition, such folk culture festivals as dragon and lion dances as well as dragon lanterns will also kick off throughout Chenzhou City, and traditional dramas like Huagu Opera, Hunan Opera, and Qi Opera will be staged in various scenic areas, communities, and theaters.

 

The “Consumption Festival for Spring Festival” was held at the Chenzhou Convention and Exhibition Center from January 26 to 30, attracting numerous citizens to stroll around and do shopping.

 

 

During the Spring Festival holiday, the Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area will offer discounts on admission tickets, with 50% off in the afternoon and 30% off in the evening in Moonlit Night on the Dongjiang Lake. Ziwei Tianxia Scenic Area of Linwu County has offered free tickets to tourists who was born in the dragon year.

 

Mangshan Mountain Wuzhi Peak Scenic Area of Yizhang County will launch parent-child tickets for one adult and one child, as well as family tickets for 2 adults with one child. Major hotels will also have discount packages for family reunion dinner during the Spring Festival.
