As the Spring Festival approaches, Heping Tofu, a traditional New Year product of Guiyang County, sees a peak sales season. In the tofu workshop in Heping Town, Guiyang County, workers were busy making tofu.
Making tofu is a traditional custom during the Spring Festival, which contains people’s expectations for blessings in the coming year.
On February 4, workers began to produce bean products like tofu, dried tofu in an orderly manner before eight o’clock in the morning in the tofu workshop.
Heping tofu is a must-have traditional delicacy in Heping Town during the Chinese New Year. It has been passed down for thousands of years.
The Heping Tofu, tender and crispy, emits a faint aroma of tea oil, which has been favored by many consumers.
Nowadays, Heping tofu is not only a delicious food, but also becomes an industry for local people to increase income.
Heping Tofu has won multiple honors, including “Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization in Chenzhou City” and “Best Contributing Unit”.
It has been sold to various parts of the country through e-commerce platforms and distributors, with an annual production value of 30 million yuan.
