Glossy ibis is mainly distributed in Africa, southern Europe and other regions, with extremely rare numbers in China.

 

Previously, the China Red Book of Endangered Birds announced that the Glossy ibis had become extinct in China since no trace of it has been observed nationwide for many years. 

 

 

In recent years, one Glossy ibis has also been found in Yongzhou, Xiangtan and other places in Hunan province. The five Glossy ibises not only add ecological beauty to the landscape, but also once again prove the continuous improvement of the ecological environment in the region.
