The photos taken on April 26 show villagers busy harvesting Chinese medicinal herbs at a herb science popularization base of Qingzhu Village, Guidong County, Chenzhou City.
More than 40 mu (about 2.67 hectares) of Chinese herbs have been planted at the base. The base has a science popularization area for herb varieties, a domestication area for rare and precious herbs, and a herb flower appreciation area. It is a good place for students to learn knowledge about Chinese herbs and inherit the development of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine).
