It’s now the critical period of management and protection for more than 300 mu (20 hectares) of taro in the base. In recent years, the city has adjusted its agricultural industry structure and made efforts to develop the taro planting industry based on the advantages of mountain and water resources, in a bid to promote agricultural efficiency and increase farmers’ income.
