Hunan International Cultural Tourism Festival has been held for 19 sessions since 2002, and has become one of the well-known cultural tourism festivals in China. Over 1,000 foreign high-end tourism guests from more than 50 countries and regions attended this year’s festival, and visited many places around the province.

 

Hunan’s global tourism market promotion plan was launched. 

 

Chenzhou is the host city of the 2nd Hunan Tourism Development Conference. Last year, the city received over 70 million tourists and achieved a tourism income of over 73 billion yuan, ranking among the top in the province.

 

Chenzhou is striving to promote the diversified development of “hotel plus” accommodation. There are 19 three-starred or above hotels and 170 quality homestay inns. 

 

The local cultural tourism department of Chenzhou City hoped to effectively connect with the global market through its three accommodation cluster projects during the festival. 

 

 

 

Wugai Mountain Forest Wellness Tourism Resort project is located at an average altitude of over 800 meters, with a forest coverage rate of over 80% and an average summer temperature of 21.6 degrees Celsius. It’s only a 30-minute drive from the central urban area of Chenzhou.

 

At present, there is an international hunting ground, Fenglin Hotel, space capsules, tree houses, tent campsites, etc. It is a national 3A level scenic area that receives more than 500,000 tourists throughout the year. It is suitable for developing projects such as summer resort, themed hotels and starry sky camping. Efforts will be made to create a national level tourist resort.

 

The Mangshan mountain boutique homestay cluster project is located in Yizhang County. Mangshan Mountain is the most well-preserved and diverse primitive forest at the same latitude on Earth. It’s now striving to create a national 5A level scenic spot and is expected to pass the national landscape quality assessment this year. 

 

As one of the core scenic spots in Chenzhou, Mangshan Mountain receives over 1 million tourists throughout year, and achieves an operation income of 150 million yuan. 

 

 

 

It plans to build a quality homestay cluster, as well as business formats like quality hotels, high-end homestay inns and characteristic blocks. 

 

Guidong County is known as the best summer resort destination in China, with an average temperature of 23 degrees Celsius in summer. It receives 800,000 visitors throughout the year.

 

Qingzhu Village where the project is located has already been listed as a provincial youth natural green campsite and a study research and exchange base for youths from Hong Kong and Macao. Forest Cabins and Earth House are planned in the core area of the “Two Bases”.
