Liuyuan Village is located in Zhaiqian Town, Guidong County, with a long history and rich Red, cultural and green resources. 

 

 

 

Strolling through the village, you will see such Red movement sites as the former movement training center and the military watch tower.

 

 

 

There are abundant Nan bamboo resources in Liuyuan Village due to its climate, soil and terrain. It has a total bamboo forest area of about 40,000 mu (2,666.67 hectares) and an annual output of tens of thousands of tons. Over 90% of the village is covered with forests. 

 

 

 

Shakeng River, Wenjiang River and Liuyuanjiang River meet here. The village also has 27 homestay inns, 2 Nan bamboo processing plants, one electronics factory, which effectively drive the employment and income increase of villagers. 

 

 

 

In 2021, Liuyuan Village won several honorary titles, including a provincial demonstration village for beautiful countryside, a provincial demonstration village for democracy and the rule of law, and a civilized village. It was approved as a featured boutique village in 2022.
